Jim Shaver
Jim currently serves as President of Shaver Associates. In this role, he provides expertise in talent recruitment and is a strategic talent partner focusing on sales, marketing, and executive leadership talent acquisition across a broad spectrum of industries. He consistently yields optimal placements for a varied range of client portfolios. His skill as a leader in securing senior professionals has significantly contributed to his clients’ organizational success. Jim has a proven track record in providing RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) to organizations nationally.
With over 25 years of national executive search and human resources consulting experience, Jim is one of the most experienced consultants based in the Chicago region. He has successfully managed over a thousand assignments for clients across various industries, with a primary focus on the Sanitary Maintenance, Foodservice, Industrial, and Safety industries. He has extensive experience with both manufacturers and distributors serving these industries.
Jim founded Shaver Associates in 2006. Early in his career, Jim served as a regional sales representative for a variety of national and international manufacturing companies. Prior to launching Shaver Associates, he was a talent recruiter for a prominent executive search consulting firm, Niles + Associates, based in Orange County, California.
Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Pitzer College. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, running, and improving his pickleball skills.
